How Dare You

How dare you
feign empathy, when you have no clue.
How dare you
excoriate me for what I do when you offer no help or solution.
How dare you
compare lives, as though you have been down my road,
and wore my shoes.
Things are easy for you.
I do not begrudge you this ease.
I simply wear down the grass of a different pathway.
How dare you
forget that I am human too.

Bingo! That is one piece we should send to everyone who offers their unsolicited insults at what we do.
