Where life has limits

When in truth limits
Until the final gavel strike
Are self inflicted
Faced with stark end of times in sight
Realization reveals there is no finality
Until there is no awareness
Left to see, feel, and think
Truth told by experience
With resurrection of self worth
With rebuilding a career
With finding love unexpectedly
These last two years displayed
The only end to vital life is choice
Choices to experience
Choices to love
Choices to walk
While battling apathy
Age embraces intellect
There is no too young
There is no too old
Vibrant thought has no calendar
In my life vision
I see a vibrant conflicted teen
A teen who writes images beyond her years
I see elder excellence
I see the pad titled "Senior services"
Where this piece originated
A writing tool that presented
When inspiration demanded
At an outdoor crafts event
I hold on to those memories
That represent a need
To create in real time
Pushing past artificial limits
That creates life beyond anticipation

Beginning and Ending
I am surprised by ongoing experienceThat surpass expectations
Where life has limits
That are stated by false dictates

Left to see, feel, and think
