Haven

Always
Everything falls apart
Lands where it died from the start
Again

Seeds
Have a way of growing
A sudden burst of life is showing
Wild and free

Change
Quiet haven, soil rested
A breakthrough tendril is tested
Finding hope

Vines
Wrap with arms greedily
The flowers bloom so speedily
Carefree

Growth
Stretching branches yawn
Laughing as they scratch at dawn
Alive

Land
Purged and booming
Yet I see another winter looming
Up ahead

I said
The scenery isn't dead
Life blossoms in the garden bed
And

The climate of my head
Has been a poorly garden shed
Tending every word that's said
Growing loathsome poison ivy
Where daisies thrive
