Stubborness

Standing out here in the rain
With an obvious strain
Standing here so strong
Just to prove somebody wrong

Blood and sweat with tears
Just to quell your fears,
Of failure, and of stress
It’s something you won’t confess

And somebody with no heart
Wouldn’t even dare to start
Yet you work for so long
Just to prove somebody wrong

Anyone who ever sold their soul
Would tell you it made them whole
In a group where you don’t belong
Yet you stay to prove me wrong

It’s why I love your flaws
Because instead of tender love
You simply need a cause
To achieve everything you dreamt of
