FOR THE ONE'S THAT LOVE TO CRITICISE
If asked why do I I need to write,It's not because I need to write.
A mixed dementia mind has needs,
It doesn't come with a right to write.
Or even to criticise what others write,
Maybe it's time to listen, to criticise.
And give up on the things I write,
To give in to trolls that have to criticise.
Nothing that I write will ever be right,
I write to keep my mind alive, isn't that my right?
You can't teach this old dog new tricks, right.
If however you get a hoot from when you criticise;
It brings a smile to your face, then I've done right,
If all the others along the way feel the same as you.
Then only then will I give up my right to write,
On poetbay as is my right to do.
A little bird once said, if you can't say something nice,
It's best to say nothing, if you think that's right.
Isn't it my god given right, to enjoy what others write,
Not to criticise what others write like you, right.
To bring a smile to realise, not everyone's a troll like you,
To enjoy what others write, is what a real writer likes to do.
My mind often dies between the rhymes, not even god
could help me finish off the rhymes that escape me
So maybe your right, it's time for me to say goodbye.
