Someone

I walked every night by the road in my town
From my work to my home
Much have i known the markets and humans
Where people speak something and mean else.
Who at the late hour of night stands by the window?
Keeps watching me till i go far ?
Who is this in my town so unconditional in love ?
A lady in shadow stands by a glass window
Looking at me incessant in watch
I thought to myself humans may not be bad at all
She must be met after days of stare as i walked
Next very night i went by the window and asked her name
She nothing said back and stared without blink in all
As i touched ,her my projections fell apart
Since when did humans become so true and all
She turned out to be mannequin and nothing after all.......

Good one.

And yes....the element of suspense building up captured my attention.
ALL WORTH it....the last line....classic.
It made me laugh. I like your humorous approach in the expression of our own vanities that a soul can become riddled with from time to time.
When I look at trees, I see mankind.

Thank you for brightening my day with that little dose of laughter.

Good medicine.
