Echo Chamber
I don't want no echo chamberNor want voices shouting back
Only things I want to hear
To make me feel pretty and prim
I don't want no echo chamber
I'm no longer six years old
I can handle criticism
Even if they're meant as tar
I don't want no echo chamber
I want to better my craft
And that won't happen if I'm sitting
Holding hands and hand shaking
I don't want no echo chamber
I've spent 16 years building
A hammer to strike down the walls
That keep me from my destination
I want to climb mountaintops
I want to be told what I'm doing
Wrong and I can handle it
I don't want no echo chamber
I'm no longer six years old
I can tell the good from bad
Intent and what's meant to be swallowed
Whole or chewed or gently spat out
