Polaroid and old letters

Life in boxes

filled with things that brought it all to life for a time

fleeting glimpses from the back of the drawer

thoughts drift freely

polaroids and old letters

fleeing one last time

into the chamber of the past

The problem is that polaroids fade. Fleeing into the past is something that gives us balance I suppose. This piece is short and unequivocal. It made me think of my photos and letters.

Reminds me of the time I rummaged through my cellar and found love letters from my grandfather to my grandmother. Thank you for helping me unlock that memory again.
