WELCOME OCTOBER 2026 BY ANN WOOD
Welcome, October; thank you for bringing such pleasant, warm weather. We are turning a new page on the calendar, and another month of the year has begun.
There are eighty-six days left until Christmas and ninety-two until the end of the year.
Another year of our lives is slipping away; time has been flying by over the last three decades.
October also brings its own celebrations—in Germany, they observe Oktoberfest, followed by Halloween.
