wistful write... i hope you like it.

inspired by hearing a story that when a leaf falls it means someone is thinking of you... basically hoping that someone would think of me.


wishing for the leaves to fall

i find hope in the leaves
because the moon --
well, it's dark tonight
to say well
it is dark
and still cold
where my heart
was warmed it is
now freezing over
it is dark tonight.

but a leaf falls
and a dream dances
to life,
to the stage
finally appearing.

he said believe
believe that
someone can love you
remember you
then the leaves
will fall
he said, promised

i believe
i believe it's true
true as anything.

what is there
on earth
(hell more like)
to believe in
anymore?

love, leaves, life


just one

fall
fall down
fall down to earth
into my hand

I like this poem.

I wish for a leaf to fall too. I think everyone does, if they don't already have a leaf in their hand.
