you fail to understand
I am working hard all day
trying to cope with the madness
that piles up in front of me
and I try to sort it out alone
but it is true...
no man is an island

so I'm through with the night clubs
and the hanging out
no more running from commitment
trying to build a firm foundation
for that perfect life with you
when I'm with you I always smile
because I love a challenge

you are brave
let me smother you
with all the love from my hear
but you say I lack focus
but whne I talk of serious issues
all you seem to do is put me down

you issue all these threats
saying how you will walk out
and leave me
tell me to leave you alone
I might as well just do that
and if I walk out the door
I won't be coming back

how many times
have I put up with your whining
if you don't appreciate me
I will find somebody else
I'm honest...I'm real
and all I want to do is provide for you
because you are my queen
