Diamond on the Bay
Sometimes when I casuallystroll on the bay,
I am rewarded with a gem
on its shores gay.
Quietly lying hidden away
from the light and glare,
But if a ray touches it,
It shines with a flare...
Breaking into a rainbow
of seven colours of light,
Suddenly on my senses
shine its light bright...
Such an effect your poem
has on me today,
For I just discovered
that diamond on the Bay...
Ladies and gentlemen,
A talent new has emerged today,
Please welcome Steve Hagget
on the PoetBay!
