You said you wanted to be with me
Then you turned around
Took my heart and stomped it into the ground
You said you wanted us to wed
Then you made me have a thousand tears to shed
You said you loved me
Then you turned around and shoved me
You always charmed me
Then you harmed me
What you did to me tore my heart and soul
My heart once was whole
But now it's disappeared
And that's what I always feared
You would take my heart and break it
For I knew I couldn't take it
That's why I tried
To keep hold of you forever even when I cried
But now my heart is numb
I feel so dumb
For crying all these tears
For all these many years
