This being my first poem on this site, I made up. I'm a deployed Marine and only have ten more minutes on the computer which made me think of writing about not having time. Just two days ago I was in a fire fight, and these words just flowed. Please co


In less time

In less time much happens
Thrown twisting spiriling
Almost euphoric but comprehensive
Content and clear headed
Nothing but dangerous things

In less time blood is shed
Dripping and soaking into the sand
Loud sparking snaping bullets fly
Yelling and frantic decisions ride
Nothing but dangerous things

In less time it's over
Still uneasy still unsure
Looking searching for more
Like choppy calm waters after a storm
Nothing but dangerous things

time is a funny thing - when the adrenalin is running high things can quicken or slow down, depending on the siuation at hand really, it's all relative.
