Tornado

My stomach feels
Just like a tornado
And that is how I see this
With all the other people
Flying around like maniacs

Just not you
As in the centre of my thoughts
Or the tornado
Whichever you like
You stay calm

A short and sweet poem. I love the metaphor of the tornado, and the eye of the storm as the person you love. Truly emphasizes the chaotic world, but you having that moment of sanctuary.
