about the prettiest girl i know

moon girl

Stolen glances by a look
How I cherish those I took
Store them deep inside my mind
The only place you can't find

Afraid to let you see
Afraid to tell you how beautiful you are to me
You are like the moon
Here one moment then gone to soon
Green eyes dark hair
Can't stop from stare

These plain words I hate
They lack power style and fate
Falling short to describe
The trueness you have inside

Must keep these feelings to myself
Mustn't tell nobody else
Must wait for the right time
Just the right time to make you mine

So until then these feelings must linger

Like a book that hasn't been read
Like a dream that hasn't be fed
Like the door that hasn't been rung
Like a song that hasn't been sung

Beauty is only skin deep
UN true yours goes much deeper than that
