Awareness

The moment lasts forever
Though we move silently within it
We observe with eyeless fascination
As it holds us within its embrace

And when we pass on
Between Heaven and Hell
The passage seems but a flicker

Wings of fear flutter across your mind
While you shroud your soul in endless layers of mockery
Veneers of somnambulant hypocrisy
Adherence to the mindless masses
Whose pathetic thrashings echo down the halls of humanity.

I am held forever in a moment of being
Can you hold me for a moment or let go forever

Seek within...
The Treasures unexplored
The Door to the Deathless...

'When we pass on/Between Heaven and Hell/ The passage seems but a flicker'- so true!! and so beautifully put...The other phrase-'eyeless facination, is unique too...
I am reminded of a poem of mine in Urdu, it goes something like this:'To see you with closed eyes...'. In Hindi, it is called:"Man Ki Ankh"(The Inner Eye)!!!... Lovely piece!!!

This has pace and yet moves with great stealth, excellent stuff.
