Please no socks
No bathrobe
I got those for
Christmas
when I was a
child remember
those stories I
told

Don't you dare
buy me a tie
or it'd better
be strong enough
for me to hang
myself by

No not even for
a stocking stuffing
I won't accept it
that's not for Christmas
that's a Father's Day Gift

And please don't do
that holiday color
theme sweater
when it comes to
gift giving a
stranger can
do better

Oh and I can hear some of you
don't give me that nonsense
about it's the thought that
counts
that and the 20 lbs of
lint on that crappy sweater
is about to what that Amounts

Hahaha-this is great!! Sometimes you get those gifts that you can tell have no thought put into it. Sometimes homemade gifts, etc, are much better-and from the heart--excellent poem!
