inspired in part by betsy Firefly's "wingless" and nepenthes' "for you, my darling." also a little dreaming on my part.

prophecy.

in the nuclear winter,
anarchy will rule the frozen
hearts of men.

and humanity will die slowly into
a shared ideal of breathing –
just living, feeling (evolution).

a brotherhood of aliens,
and unknown generation of, dare-i-say it,
flight.

[chaotic synergy, broken wings]
and the winter will warm,
thousands of summers
of rooftops and idle star-gazing.

until then, i am just a poet.

Individuality
a good piece, some really good imagery here, 'a brotherhood of aliens' - i think we are there already with that, we share the same air but ideals seems to elude us.
