Glass Bouquet

Glass Bouquet
You can smile on so friendly
You are beautifully medley
And for this I am proud

In the day
You can laugh till your throat's dry
You can't stop but you can try
When the rain's built a shroud

Glass Bouquet
Can't you hear all the windgust?
Can you glow in the brown dust?
Or is this just not allowed?

Shining ray
Reflect light off the dull blades
Of the petals of bouquets
Bounce back to my crowd

Glass Bouquet
You had been tossed by an angel
But then dropped by the strangers
And shattered out loud

Glass Bouquet
You are soaring so gently
As the dust that intently
Had you to surround

Wonderful poem - like Kathy wrote, it creates images in one's mind, different beautiful images. Although I hate singling out verses from a poem that's a whole, I did especially enjoy this one:
"Shining ray
Reflect light off the dull blades
Of the petals of bouquets
Bounce back to my crowd"
Thanks!

reflective, prisms of a glass bouquet shine through your words. I love the analogy, the metaphor. You have created emotions and images that play across my mind.

I read this twice and it gets better each time michael, I love the Glass Bouquet perspective here, and the poem flows perfectly. I liked the penultimate verse the best, so cool. Smiling at you, Tai
