Margaret a strong willed person with a wicked sense of humour died 9th November 2005 and this is her perspective of the service that will be held today, as seen through the eyes and words of the writer.

In Celebration

In Celebration

You gather here today to say good-bye to me in an act of celebration,
Please my friends remember me with love and Jubilation,
For I do wish to hear you're laughter filling this very room,
So be not cheerless, pray laugh and joke, it is not the time for gloom,
Remember only all our joyful days the happy times we had,
Then I shall rest and rest in peace for I shall not be sad.

What a fantastic woman! I hope the funeral turned out to be the way she wished.
And you expressed this very well, I think

What beautiful sentiments, this is as it should be a celebration of ones life, to remember the good times ,forget the bad, and wish them happiness on their future road ahead, thanks for sharing albert.

John Ashleigh
Have a good funeral - and do laugh, and do smile. Don't cry unless you're crying giving white roses to her ending-bed or giving a speech filled with all the good times.

Forget regret.
