Our neibours cows who "Stand and Stare " and us people who are looking for those "Greener Pastures".

Pastures Green

Jacques cows gaze through the wire strands,
transfixed,
Fixation the only emotion showing in their liquid saucer eyes,
Following our every movement as on our path we closely pass,
Standing hooves covered in churned up earth devoid of any grass,
We walk on Meg and I and can only wonder at the rural scene,
A few steps farther on and the grass is both lush and green.
