Distance is an Orange

Distance is an orange
That is washed after it's peeled
You think it's for the better
But you realize as it's mealed
That the soggy skin is tasteless
And the center, not intact
Your good idea's rotten
So the nasty orange is packed

I will never see oranges in the same light again.
And I will remember this poem and you, my friend, each time I peel an orange!

I love this! This is fantastic. It reaches all the senses and makes them alive.

What a strange definition of distance michael? I have never considered distance a problem in my life, it is just time. I do agree about oranges though! who the hell washes them after peeling them anyway? lol Smiling at you, Tai
