A look at the modern way to convey the written word

The Texts i luv 2 h8

What has happened to the written message?
Has it changed beyond repair?
With the introduction of phone texting,
It has led me to despair,
To be with the modern idiom,
One must put i in lower case
If I thought of you like that as a person,
You would look on me with distaste,
But what are us old farts to make of the word luv?
More akin to a toilet, being oh so very terse,
Instead of that beautiful word love,
One uses to convey sentiment or affection in a verse,
I could prattle on forever, if it wasn't for the tears,
This is only my simple observations,
Not designed to upset my peers.

Very good. I too despair of lowgrade education: anyone for doing a PhD in Football Pitch Management with Lithuanian Epic Poetry at Walton-on-the-Naze Tech?

Well done albert, it certainly won't upset me, though it did make me smile :-)
