What If Poetbay...

What if Poetbay
Was just one man?
One man masquerading
As Nadine from Ohio,
Or Julie, age 16, from Toronto.

What if this
Were true?
Would he be like a
Strange superman?
Lonely, brilliant,
Forging words,
Dedicated to poetry,
Living poetry
As his only food.
Writing night and day,
Just to keep the poets
At bay.

Or a poetry
Megalomaniac?
His poems only
Will be published,
And all will be amazed
At their depth and breadth.
What if?

ohhhh how boring that would be ...one poet only....pfffttt. i just love the diversity of people and poetry on here. Very nice piece and it really got me thinking....so happy to be here at poetbay where everyone is so appreciated and is free to be themselves in there writing...and can be accepted on level ground.
