I painted the sky an azure blue,
Added cotton wool clouds,
Though only a few,
The sun in the corner,
I coloured it yellow,
Giving the effect,
Of a canvas quite mellow?
The grand old oaks,
Their boughs shaded green,
Added to the restful scene,
The fields of corn,
I tinted gold,
The painting finished,
The story told.
