These are just a few of the lessons Ive come across in my short and so far illustrious life
...you cannot force someone to love. All you can do is be someone who can be loved, the rest is up to them.
...you should always leave loved ones with loving words, it may be the last time you're seeing them.
...the best things in life are taken away too soon.
...the disappointments just never seem to go away.
...you can get by on charm for about 15 minutes. After that you'd better know something.
...the world doesn't care how many storms you encountered along the way. All it wants to know is, "Did you bring the ship?"
...my best friend and I can do anything or nothing and still have the best of times.
...just because someone doesnt love you the way you want them to doesnt mean they dont love you with all they have.
...our background and circumstances may have affected who we are, but we are totally responsible for who we become.
...even when you think you have nothing left to give, when a friend cries ou t you will find the strength to help.
...it takes years to build up trust, and only seconds to destroy it.
...it's not what you have in life, but who you have that counts.
...no matter how thin you slice it, there are always two sides.
...you can keep on going long after you thought you couldnt.
...heroes are people who do what has to be done, when it has to be done, no matter what the consequences.

Lessons learned
