Freedom

Free words may chilly shiver
Shimmy down that silver tube
Love might be the answer
But like water it gives and takes
Much too like water: never makes
Though I can't break me, or free
The same in all, but not at all
But in all all the all you could have
At all.

And so the free words are taken
Like a way of lime juice sliced
From the sprouting flesh of a green brain
Popping soul knowledge into your soul
Like a lime should, in all,
For some may take the wakening
Slate of juice on their plate
And devour the sour
Or others may shun the gun
Never pull that trigger
Never linger on the tip of the finger
Nail the nail in the coffin

Because freedom isn't always (ever) on TV.
