Depression...

My Distant Depression

I that think today
May be one of the worst days
I have ever endured.

Distant depression
Has come back to haunt me,
I don't think i'll ever be cured.

I'm just pushed to the side
I feel like no-one would care,
If I lived, or if I died.

I see nothing
I want to die
I'm washed over by this black tide

I see everything
I want to live
I'm still washed over by this black tide

I that think today
May be one of the worst days
I have ever endured.

Distant depression
Has come back to haunt me,
I don't think i'll ever be cured.

Eli The PoetBay support member heart!
I like the repetition too; in a well laid out and very real piece of writing.

Pamel Brooke
a sad poem. Depression is a terrible thing but I can honestly say that in time you will be cured. You have really painted such a picture of depression with your poem.
