a childhood memory

in hope

summer and the mystery of the bazar
a childs amazement over mankind
the fathers mistake
a mother seeking

the unknown streets of Istanbul
- waiting in the lobby of the court
a hospital to visit
forgivness to be found

sleeping in a lap - waiting waiting
a fraction of life
a fraction where all could change

and so we excist in the diffrent rooms of life
without knowledge but in hope

Kath...excellent thoughtful write...enjoyed the read

I particularly liked the phrase, "in the different rooms of life"

Memories are such complex things - fragments of pain and happiness, this makes me think and consider things, recalling moments that perhaps as a child I didn't comprehend

Kath, this has so much imagery in it; I felt apart of it somehow. Wonderfully written. applause. : )
