I wish that I could keep youClose to my heart.
I wish we could be together
And never be apart.
I can't believe we still haven't met
Even though our love is true.
I can't believe we're still just friends
But my heart belongs to you.
It's not fair how we go on
Like a fairytale that can't begin.
It's not fair that we can't be one
We can't be to each other, next of kin.
It's easy, for friends to say, there's no point to this
But there are things they never see.
It's easy to think that way
But it should be just You and Me.
