For Me

I would walk the world over
Just to say i did
Just to prove what i'm worth

I would try to fly
Just to prove you wrong
Just to shoot down everything you say

I would try to turn back time
Just to show i can do the unthinkable
Just to change the world

Yes i would do everything
if I could

I would climb the tallest mountain
I would swim the biggest ocean
I would dig the deepest hole
I would fly from coast to coast
I would write the sweetest poem
I would sing the prettiest song

Yes i would do it all for you

For you no journey is too great
For you no quest is too hard
For you no mission is too impossible
For you i would change the world
For you i would move the land, and sea
For you i would do all the things you thought i could

But you know what
I'm gonna do those things for me

while reading this I was relating .... I feel I would do that for my significant other! but finishing it - I love your last line. i recently read an article in a magazine - that questions the morals of women....if they're starting to lay them back down, put things off for the man of there dreams....and forgetting what they'd set out to do! i still plan to persue my dreams, as well as continuing to love the man of my dreams! i truly liked reading your poem tho - i recommend this to all women! nice job!
