When a moment passes
It is like a quick
Longing glance
Laced with sadness

I ruined it

Leveled it to the ground
Ever my own cortez
Acting on impulse and
Realizing that I had it wrong
Now it is too late

I like the theme: impulsive action leads to regret. Damn. I ruined it. Will I ever learn? This is a pretty universal sentiment, and you wrote it simply and well.
