But sometimes, a look hurts nearly as much as a touch
revealing thoughts that chokes my heart with fear
and in those moments I understand
why some women feel safer veiled behind sheets
of bitchy coldness
or of cloth
I am defenceless against your thoughts

Some say "look but don't touch"But sometimes, a look hurts nearly as much as a touch
