To "cry tough" means to face adversity on life's terms and to always maintain your hope, faith and strength.

Until the waters flow again

Like a current
slowed by drought
we cry tough
until the waters
flow again.

Without erosion
of our spirit ,
our bravery,
our perseverance,

We cry tough
forever challenged
with our heads
held high.

She was beautiful - she had blue eyes, Becca's nose and Josh's red hair.

To face loss with courage is a mind set and discipline we need to learn as it appears before us but it is never easy...crying helps...as does writing so intelligently about it.

To "cry tough" is not something I've heard before, but I recognize it, and I think many will. It isn't easy to put those thoughts into words, you've done so very well.
