She Dreams

Is what she wants
So wrong?

Is what she craves
So depraved?

When she has responsiblities
People who depend on me
She cannot walk away from them

So she sacrifices her chance
Of happiness for them
As they mean so much to me

This tender
Gentle heart
Bursting
At the seams

Will never find
The girl to touch
Her spirit and soul

She gives
Not expecting
To recieve

And they
Not knowing
Looking down
On her sadness
In disgust

As she doesn't
Let up her secret
That things are not
As it seems

She'll dream
In her lonliness
And softly reach out

But no one see's
No gives her
That chance
Of happiness
She dreams

She dreams
Of dreams
Hidden
