To Be
Nothing so beautifulnothing so awe-inspiring
nothing that grabs hold of me so deeply
as these words of fire
that burn deep into my depths
and set aflame my coldest and darkest pillars
as these words of water
that quench the longing inside me
and move my heart to spill over
Nothing so much a part of me
than the very love that created me
and keeps every atom that makes up my body
together
Never do I feel so alive
as when my ears are deafened
with the vibration of Your call
Never do I love more
as when I am bursting asunder
from the shattering influence of Your summons
