Where heaven touches the earth

Sitting on a windswept meadow
crying softly, eyes shut sadly,
your heartache drops small satin petals
that find their way to a beautiful place,
where heaven touches the earth

There are the grand and grandiloquent effusions that leave me unmoved, and the gentle and graceful little gestures that touch me greatly. This is one of those.

That is so touching. I love your poem.

The ideas that our tears become satin petals that connect us to heaven. Very beautiful.
