As per the advice from Rilke, I continue to explore the things I experience in my poetry - no matter how cliche they might be

Dragonsegg

Gentle eyes looked upon you
into you

and you laid yourself bare
the worst first

An impenetrable fortress with cool and slippery walls
perceived as a smokescreen
and passed by easily

In their hands you are a rock
hard and cold

In mine
you heat and glow warmly
and with the gentlest breath
the softest touch of lips
a creature far greater bursts from within your stone-like depths

I knew
how I touched you

I did not know how you touched me

Well written. Hope you continue to explore. Nothing cliché about this one :-)
