an office day

haven't seen the sun today

dark commute

and styrofoam coffee

moire silk spread

the color of dead ice

across the sky

sun gone
presumed missing

dark commute

sloping shoulders

greeted with smiles

lit from within

fireside cuddle

Having braved the tube in rush hour today I feel this poem is perfect in expressing what commuting is like! I also like the ending, leaves you with a warm feeling :) C

Without the first, you mightn't appreciate the last.
