Moments Like Eons


Because there are only moments like eons of mist
Covering all that is we stand to fall,
Because there is a bright spot in utter darkness
Reaching through the infinite space between
That which appears to be indeed 
And everything that sleep does dream
What was a mere thought becomes being
And being thought is reason enough to exist
Because there are only moments like eons of mist ...
