they say terri is a dirty girl

 

 

let's say someone

smiles a lot

and has rosy cheeks

and a glint

 

a twinkle, a happiness in her eyes

and auburn hair

that cascades in ripples, naturally

a comely body

 

that lives life with joy and

often 

abandon

that cares for others, who is inherently kind

wouldn't one be inclined to call her

something other than a dirty girl

the glint frightens them

it suggests possibilities and delight

 

~~~

 

if she is a dirty girl, she's my dirty girl

 

~~~

 

which makes me
