Beach Bum

I travel from beach to beach.
Some may call me a bum.
I'm just a free spirit,
Following the sun.
By day you'll find me on my longboard,
Trying to catch the curls.
At night I'm in a beach bar,
Flirting with the girls.

Some call me a beach bum.
I'm doing what I love to do.
Living life the way I please,
I bet you wish you could too.

I once lived that corporate life,
An office on the top floor.
I traded in that boardroom
For a life down by the shore.
Conference call with the sea gulls
Is a pleasure everyday.
Watching the sunset every evening,
As the palm trees sway.

Some call me a beach bum.
I'm doing what I love to do.
Living life the way I please,
I bet you wish you could too.

Life is simply too darn short,
Get out and live it every day.
Do whatever thrills your heart,
If it's work or if it's play.

Some call me a beach bum.
I'm doing what I love to do.
Living life the way I please,
I bet you wish you could too.
