Hidden meanings

There are thoughts that you are guilty of
that never can be properly expressed,
your masked intentions might not be accepted
and must maybe be misunderstood
if given over to the ignorant and common public.
The important thing is that you always must remain
true to your self and stick implicitly to your own honesty
and be most careful and exact about it.
People never need to know what you are really thinking,
but you yourself must always be completely sure
that what you think and do is right.
If you are certain of your track and follow it,
you need no followers and no acclaim,
and no one needs to know about it,
since the only necessary thing
is that you know yourself.
