Blank Pages

My life is full of blank pages that need to be written,

Only I can determine what they will say.

A happy story is what I want,

But I'm not sure how to write it all in.

I have no words to express how I feel,

So I need to figure out how to fill the pages.

My book is loaded with blank pages,

You turn and find one right after another.

I have the urge to fill in the pages,

But am experiencing writers block.

There's no one to help me for this is my story,

My story about me and my life!

It will all pour out when least expected. There is nothing as depressing for the poet or writer, than that blank page staring back.
