Rain Visited
Late last night the rain visited again
While some of us were sleeping
As through waiting to be slain,
Liquid light, Heaven weeping
As lost worlds were turning against the grain
Something seeping in the main,
Morning came with changes sweeping
Leaves from eaves of attic tunnels
Swirling dreams around like funnels
Fallen far from ever keeping
Time was right about to feel, the strain
Late last night the rain visited again . . .
