Thought Eyes

The same eyes of so long ago
Those self same eyes saw see through
(These are not the same eyes as those
Know now no, these are not new)
Seeing now is not seeing then
But then was never the same as thought
The same eyes of so long ago
Are not the same eyes I see now
In another mirror in another light
Looking for today seeing through
The Night. . .
