Are we?


Are we the light that shines out of keyholes
Or the keyhole that lets out light;
do we shine small and dim or shine out proud and bright?

Swirling, twirling questions of the heart and head
Which do we trust or do we follow our gut instead?

Are we the dark, are we the light
Are we someone's wrong or someone's right;
Do we cause the love in someone's life
Or are we the cause of their pain and strife?

Which do we trust
Swirling twirling questions of the heart and head
Or do we follow our gut instead?
