Chaos Friend


Your pain I've never felt so I can't say "I understand"
just know I'm here in the dark to hold your hand
I'm sorry for the grief you're going through
My heart truly breaks for you.

I'm here until grief's end to help you smile again
In the chaos you have a friend
to help wipe the tears that downward cascade
with me you don't need to wear that "I'm happy" masquerade.

If it will lighten it I'll make your burden mine
know you don't have to go through it alone this time.
