a mere speck of dust
I am walking a destined path
I longed to detour
and find my own road
one that never ends
my feet are glued on the ground
I am in despair
but I can only go up
I am looking forward
I have not looked up
when the skies have
been staring at me
ah, right
I did not know before
I realised it now
I know nothing
I can never be satisfied
for in my head
the tiny voices in my head
they are saying things to me
the world is round
it ain't flat
I can walk forever
but I can also fly
I finally found it
after purposely getting lost
not in this world
but in my thoughts
for it's true
one who wanders is not always lost
one who wanders always finds more
don't look in the mirror
you won't find yourself
look around you
and see your reflection
all that is an extension of yourself
beyond those freckles
behind those smiles
more than your dress
or Apple's best
life is more than that
dreams are more than that
you are more than that
I am not your thoughts
so do not listen to me
but battle it out
do not follow the winner
follow your heart

I am a part of this worlda mere speck of dust
I am walking a destined path
I longed to detour
and find my own road

my feet are glued on the ground
